Το πρόγραμμα είναι επιδοτούμενο από το πρόγραμμα Erasmus+, καλύπτονται πλήρως διαμονή και διατροφή και επιστρέφονται ταξιδιωτικά έξοδα από τον οργανισμό υποδοχής ανάλογα με τη χιλιομετρική απόσταση, σύμφωνα με τον υπολογιστή απόστασης της Ευρωπαϊκής επιτροπής.

Κατά τη διάρκεια του προγράμματος θα χρησιμοποιηθούν μέθοδοι μη τυπικής εκπαίδευσης και η γλώσσα εργασίας θα είναι τα Αγγλικά.

Aims of the project
I) Create an informal network between 11 youth organisations and sustainable partnerships between them for exchange of competences, information, tools and good practices that will serve as a starting ground for developing new joint projects and activities for environmental education and sustainable development.

II) Increase the quality of the youth sector on the local and international level for addressing environmental issues by providing organisations and youth workers with youth work resources and non-formal learning methodologies.

To achieve these aims, the project has set up the following objectives:
– to give the opportunity to youth workers and organisations to meet, get to know each other and present their profiles, work, activities and backgrounds
– to increase the motivation and capacities of organisations and youth worker to cooperate and design good quality projects that tackle environmental and ecological issues
– to provide youth workers with new and improved knowledge, skills, attitudes (competences) and tools to work with environmental and sustainable development education of young people on the local and international level
– to develop new joint project proposals on topics connected with environmental education and sustainable development that will benefit communities and target groups of partner organisations while in the same time presenting opportunities of Erasmus+ programme in the field
– to raise awareness of the youth sector and the general public about environmental issues and their negative effects on society.
