Το πρόγραμμα είναι επιδοτούμενο από το πρόγραμμα Erasmus+, καλύπτονται πλήρως διαμονή και διατροφή και επιστρέφονται ταξιδιωτικά έξοδα από τον οργανισμό υποδοχής ανάλογα με τη χιλιομετρικά απόσταση, σύμφωνα με τον υπολογιστή απόστασης της Ευρωπαϊκής επιτροπής.
Κατά τη διάρκεια του προγράμματος θα χρησιμοποιηθούν μέθοδοι μη τυπικής εκπαίδευσης και η γλώσσα εργασίας θα είναι τα Αγγλικά.
Project summary:
Training Course, «AreYouSure?Critical Thinking and Basic Media Assessment Skills in Youth Work» will tackle problems related to critical thinking, radicalization and extremism among groups of youth, and methods of assessment of information found in the Internet and various media.
The project idea emerges from need to equip youthworkers and people actively involved in youthwork with tools needed to fight fake news, learn critical thinking, and most importantly, beable to pass those key competences to young people in their local communities, thus preventing and fighting radicalisation and extremism among youth. Participants will also understand the situation of young people in Europe, learn about the Erasmus+ programme, and build their professional networks with other youthworkers from programme countries.
The activity will be implemented in an international youth centre in Krzyżowa in Lower Silesia, Poland, fromNovember 25thtill December 2nd2021.
Aims and Objectives:
Project “Are you sure” was designed to equip partner organisations and their youth workers with competences needed to prevent radicalisation and extremism among young people.
Those phenomenon are very often based on false information, fake news, and manipulation, of which young people fall victims of. Competences, methods and good practices obtained by participants and partner organisations are needed to tackle problems of young people project partners are working with. As such the main objective of the project is to improve situation of young people in partners’ local communities by improving their skills in media consumption, information filtering, and critical thinking.
Objectives of the project stand in line with the objectives of the Erasmus+, in particular by equipping youth workers with tools and competences related to media consumption and critical thinking, youth work using digital technologies, supporting common, democratic and European values, and preventing radicalisation of young people.
